It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Brooks, who passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2023, at the young age of 38.
Travis was born on June 26, 1984 in Tampa, Florida to parents William and Judy Jenkins Brooks.
Travis had a deep affection for the water. He loved to find creeks of all shapes and sizes and of course, the ocean. His mother used to tease him, saying he should have been born with gills. His love for the water was only matched by his love for his family. He was an incredibly selfless and kind person and was always willing to help out anyone in need.
Travis also had a deep love for motorcycles and worked hard at his job as a concrete foreman. He loved spending time with his family and would always take the time to provide any service or advice that was asked of him. His heart was full of love and no one was ever a stranger.
Travis leaves behind those to cherish his memories: wife: Marianne Brooks; Daughter: Macie Brooks; stepson: Presten; mother: Judy; sister: Beck Spears; nephew: Frank Spears, Jr.
The service for Travis will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 12:00 PM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Frank Spears Jr., Nathan Runions, Jason Barnett, Tae Robinson, Tanner Weaver, Joe Bennett, Kyle Wright, Logan Morris, Matthew Fitzsimmons and Mark Fitzsimmons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his wife: Marianne, mother: Judy, daughter: Macie, stepson: Presten, sister: Beck; Diana Himes and Gary Chapman.
