Virgie Adams, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 91, in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Born on March 13, 1934, in Bakersfield, California, Virgie’s life was a testament to her unwavering kindness and the joy she found in her family, her crafts, and her devotion to her church community.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Virgie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arvil Adams, and her cherished children Annette Riley, Kenneth Adams, and Donna Drum.
She leaves behind her children, John Adams, lovingly supported by his wife, Brittany, Dennis Adams, and Suzie Adams. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Teresa and Jason Drum, alongside several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.
Virgie’s hands were rarely still, as she found great pleasure in sewing and crocheting, creating countless treasures that her family would cherish forever. Her love for flowers was evident in the vibrant blooms that surrounded her home. Yet, it was her commitment to her faith and her church family at the Worldwide Church of God that truly defined her. Her church family was her rock, providing a source of strength and fellowship that she treasured deeply.
Her heart knew no bounds, and her faith was as deep as the ocean. She lived her life with a grace that inspired all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her spirit was a guiding light that will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.
