Wanda Fay Ambrose Holloway, 75, retired Dental Assistant for Dr. Andy Woodard died, Friday, December 31, 2021 at Life Care Center of Columbia.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Hunter officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born May 4, 1946 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Ambrose and the late Lillie Ambrose.
She married Edward Boyd “Eddie” Holloway who preceded her in death on August 20, 2017.
Mrs. Holloway was an accomplished Tennis player and played into her early 70’s. She enjoyed sports, especially watching her grandchildren play. She loved traveling to the beach and loved her church family, where she was a member at Grace Nazarene.
Survivors include her son, Clint Holloway of Shelbyville; daughter, Julie (Bart) Kelley of Culleoka; brothers, Bill Ambrose of Culleoka; Bobby (Louise) Ambrose of Summertown; grandchildren, Miles Nixon, Hope Massey, Lacy Kelley, Cameron Kelley, and Karah Kelley; and several nieces and nephews.
