Mrs. Wanda Norene Creel Sealey, 78, wife of Frank Everett Sealey, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at NHC Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sealey will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Born October 21, 1942 in St. Joe, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Milton E. Creel and the late Ophie McKissack Creel. She attended Patterson High School in Baltimore. She married Frank Everett Sealey in May of 1959. Mrs. Sealey was employed by Weather Tamer until their closing. She was a member of Loyal Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Vincent (Donnette) Sealey, Kay (Rick) Duvall, Susan” Missy” (Keith) Mealer, Tracey (Abby) Sealey; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Norma Rush; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Everett Sealey; brother, Bud Creel; sisters, Donna Crigger and Othelia Pinkard.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Underwood, Joe Lewis III, Jason Sealey, Daniel Sealey, Justin Mealer, Lee Runions, and Austin Underwood. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
