The Nashville Predators had two late power-play chances but were unable to capitalize in the final minutes of regulation, falling to the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena.
Juuse Saros made 21 saves for the Predators, who lost for the first time in three games and moved to 3-4-0 on the season.
PREDS STANDOUTS
Sissons’ first-period goal was his fourth of the season, tying him with Novak for the team lead. A North Vancouver native, Sissons now owns 10 points (6g-4a) in 21 career games against the Canucks.
Sherwood’s goal was his second in as many games. Novak dished out his first assist of the season on the play.
The Predators conclude their three-game homestand on Saturday when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at Bridgestone Arena. The puck drops at 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on Bally Sports South, 102.5 The Game and El Jefe Radio. Click here for tickets.
