The City announced Assistant Finance Director Steve Carden as February Employee of the Month! Steve began in the Finance Department in March of 2021 and has quickly become a major asset to the City.
Steve is a master of the accounting universe – and if that sounds like high praise, it is! Many coworkers have stated that Steve has seamlessly transitioned from the private finance sector to the public sector with much ease and great professionalism. His commitment and dedication to the department are second to none. He possesses great knowledge, is very personable, and always has a positive attitude. Steve also manages day-to-day finance functions, encourages staff, and is always willing to listen and help in any way possible.
