Carol Frances Conner, age 86, wife of Cecil “Chuck” Conner, and a resident of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 11th at 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Vann and Rev. Don Terry officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carol was born in Lawrence County on April 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Patton Lovett and the late Lottie Mae Hicks Lovett. She retired many years ago from Edric Manufacturing, working as a seamstress in the factory. She was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, collecting dolls, solving puzzles, traveling, and her beloved poodle, Abigail.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her son, Tim (Nancy) Conner of Hermitage, Jeff (Karen) Conner of Marshall County; daughter, Teresa (Wayne) Lovett of Columbia; four grandchildren, Raney Conner, Jesse Conner, Caleb Lovett, and Carly Lovett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Ann Slouten; brother, David Lovett; and several nieces and nephews.
