The City of Columbia has announced the November Employee of the Month!
Sommar Jaynes currently serves as the Purchasing Agent in the Finance Department. She has been with the City for over 10 years. The City says Sommar has always had a positive and dynamic presence as a point of contact in business matters with all departments.
“In her role, Sommar has been tasked with a great variety of functions and duties that impact each department in a unique way. In all dealings, Sommar has demonstrated great patience and leadership and has always risen to the occasion to serve each City department. The City is grateful to have her as an employee.”
