1Kiwanis Annual Yard Sale

Don’t miss the 20th annual Kiwanis Yard Sale to benefit Maury County Imagination Library. You can donate your items for the yard sale. Drop off is Friday, February 23 from 1pm – 4pm. Items accepted are gently used household items. Items not accepted include clothing, TVs, sleeper sofas, computers, printers and monitors.

2Natchez Trace VIP Wine Trail Tour

A one-of-a-kind experience! You and your friends will ride in style to all 4 wineries on the Natchez Trace Wine Trail. You will start at Grinder’s Switch Winery in downtown Columbia, TN and then head over to Keg Springs Winery, Amber Falls Winey and Natchez Hills Winery in Hampshire, TN. Each location will provide a VIP wine tasting where you will get to sample the best each winery has to offer. This VIP tour includes transportation, a complimentary Charcuterie box to take with you, drinks and snacks for the journey, tasting fees at all 4 wineries and a complimentary Natchez Trace Wine Trail wine glass

3Polar Plunge

The coolest thing you can do all year is participate in the Muletown Polar Plunge on February 25 to help fund the Special Olympic for Area 6. Dubbed Freezin’ for a Reason, helps support the special needs athletes who compete in the Special Olympics. Their goal this year is $20,000. So far, they have raised $1,500.

With a minimum entry fee of $75, $50 for students, each plunger will receive an official “Freezin’ for a Reason” t-shirt and “all bragging rights associated with taking the frigid plunge.” The more funds raised by an individual, the more swag they will receive. Those raising $150 for the cause will also receive a stocking hat. For a $300 donation you will also get event logo sweat pants. A $600 donator will receive a backpack. And anyone who raises $1,000 will receive all of the goodies. Super fundraisers who give $3,000 or more will take home a Yeti cooler. There is a $10 down payment fee to participate. Register here.

People can plunge as individuals or part of a team. Costumes are strongly encouraged. There will be for the best costumes and themes.

4All American Circus

Show days and times are February 23 at 7:00 p.m., February 24 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and February 25 at 4:00 p.m.

National Guard Armory

The All American Circus, a real family circus, will be returning to the National Guard Armory beginning on February 23 in Columbia, Tennessee for four performances over three days. 

Produced by Oscar Garcia and Stardust Circus Entertainment, the All American Circus features the Rosales family. Carmen and Jorge Rosales and their children bring a full line-up of traditional circus acts to the ring, including the Globe of Death, the aerial Corde Lisse performed high above the audience, as well as juggling, balancing and the must-have clowns.
