Friday, June 3, 6:00pm

812 S. High St, Columbia, TN

The Mulehouse

World Turning Band was formed in early 2013 by John Foster and a group of his close friends. John’s desire was to create a group that could be appreciated by any age at most any venue. Considering the large number of familiar songs and a career span of four decades and counting, Fleetwood Mac seemed a perfect fit. Over the past few years, World Turning Fleetwood Mac Tribute has become a staple at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley venue. The World Turning song list is composed of all the major hits penned by Fleetwood Mac along with the many solo efforts of its talented members. Add-in some interesting songs from previous Fleetwood Mac members, and some Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and you wind up with a hit-packed evening that everyone seems to enjoy. World Turning provides a fun-filled, two-hour performance with dancing and singing, along with a bit of crowd participation that leaves everyone feeling happy and fulfilled.

The Mulehouse

The Steel Woods were co-founded by Wes Bayliss and Jason “Rowdy” Cope. Bayliss is a multi-instrumentalist and lead singer, while lead guitarist Jason “Rowdy” Cope played in Jamey Johnson’s band for nine years. Bayliss grew up playing music in his family’s gospel band and learned to play harmonica, mandolin, and guitar. Jason “Rowdy” Cope began to learn guitar at the age of 11. He later worked as a Los Angeles-based musician before moving to Nashville and joined Jamey Johnson’s band. In his nine years with Johnson, Cope co-wrote “Can’t Cash My Checks,” and helped Johnson make the Grammy-nominated “That Lonesome Song” (2008) and “The Guitar Song” (2010). After playing in a cover band together, Cope and Bayliss added bassist Johnny Stanton and original drummer Jay Tooke to round out the lineup of a new band. An eponymous EP came out in 2016, and the next year saw the release of Straw in the Wind. In 2017, it was at 42 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. In the subsequent years, the band toured with fellow Southern rock artists Cody Johnson, Cody Jinks, Whiskey Myers, and Blackberry Smoke as well as inspirations such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Miranda Lambert. The band’s third album, All of Your Stones, was released in May 2021.
