Ethan Lovell, a beloved son, grandson, and friend, departed this world on January 6, 2024, at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born on May 11, 2005, in Jackson, Tennessee, to the loving embrace of Breanne Lovell. Ethan brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around him.

Ethan was a young soul with a passion for various interests that defined his vibrant personality. Among his many loves, he cherished video games, cars, history—especially war history—knives, and watches. His fascination with these pursuits reflected his curious and inquisitive nature, always seeking knowledge and understanding in the world around him.

Dark blue, Ethan’s favorite color, symbolized the depth and richness of his spirit. He had a remarkable ability to form close and meaningful connections, surrounded by a circle of friends who held a special place in his heart. His magnetic personality left an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ethan is survived by his parents, Breanne and Bryan, his grandparents, John and Tammy Lovell, and Steve Marlin, as well as his great-grandparents, Roxie Bowers, Shirley Doss, and Vada Lewis. He leaves behind a multitude of family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Preceding Ethan in death were his great-grandparents, Ellis Bowers, Herbert and Mattie Marlin, Bill Doss, and Bobby Lewis. Though physically departed, his memory will continue to live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared by those who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service for Ethan will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Eric Hogstrom officiating. Ethan will be laid to rest at Maury Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be his boys: Mason Johnson, Aedan Turner, David Kincaid, Jaxon Rhea, Connor Rhea, and Noah Buttram.
