Mary Charles Redman Berwind, 77, resident of Columbia, TN, and retired clerk for Tennessee Farm Bureau, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.
Born on June 1, 1946, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Collins Redman and the late Jo Lawson Redman.
Mrs. Berwind enjoyed riding and taking care of horses, a passion she developed from a young age. She retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau, where she worked as a clerk for thirty plus years.
She is survived by her daughters, Christi (Kevin) Wenby of Nashville, Carol (Eric) Hinson of Culleoka; granddaughter, Grace Wenby of Nashville; brother, Johnny (Paulette) Redman of Dover; and nephews, John John Redman and Joey Redman of Dover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special friend, Buford Gladney.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN with Brandon Cochran officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday, March 4, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
