Danny Ray Wright, age 60, resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his residence.

Born on December 2, 1963, in Jamestown, Tennessee, Danny was the son of Harvey Wright and the late Judy Wright Brandenburg.

He was a proud Shriners kid, known for his gentle giant demeanor and a heart that always put others first. His devotion extended to his furry companions, his beloved dogs. Danny’s faith in God was evident in his everyday life, as he spread the word of God and worshiped at City Place Church. He was also a dedicated supporter of the Family Center. Among his greatest joys was sharing his love for motorcycles with his wife, Jennifer, as they rode together with the Christian Motorcyclists Association.

In addition to his father, Harvey (Becky) Wright, Danny is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer McCutcheon Wright; stepdaughter, Shelby Tiger of Columbia; his father-in-law, Larry (Joyce) McCutcheon of Hohenwald; mother-in-law, Kathy McCutcheon of Spring Hill; sister, Harvetta Wright; stepbrother, Joey (Lyndsey) Goff; brother in law, Mark (Karen) McCutcheon; nephews, Josh Neal and Ryan McCutcheon; niece, Amaryss Goff; and special cousins, Kimmy Wright, who he loved like a sister, Debbie Stephens, and Debbie Lee.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with Jack Smith officiating. Friends are invited to pay their respects and support the family on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Christian Motorcyclists Association Knights For Christ #448 will honor Danny’s memory as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to CMA National, PO Box 9, Hatfield, AR 71945.

Danny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and peace during this difficult time.
