At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Mount Pleasant to 8 miles east of Olive Hill. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Maury County until 6:45 PM CDT on September 5, 2025. At 6:27 PM, conditions were partly cloudy with a temperature of 91.9°F. Wind was recorded at 7.2 mph with no precipitation at the time.
Earlier today, temperatures peaked at 94.1°F and dropped to a low of 68.9°F. Thunderstorms resulted in a total of 0.3 inches of precipitation, and wind speeds reached up to 13.7 mph. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with a low of 72.9°F and continued wind speeds up to 13.7 mph. The chance of precipitation remains high at 93%.
