...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Bedford, Coffee, Giles, Grundy, Lawrence, Lewis,
  Marshall, Maury, Perry, Van Buren, Warren and Wayne.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
Today
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 65. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 51. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
